Standard Features:

THE ELECTRICAL HEATING SYSTEM is capable of maintaining a temperature of 70 degrees F at ambient temperatures as low as -60 degrees F. There is less than a 5 degrees F temperature differential between any 2 points in the shower. (View the Information Brochure)

DUAL THERMOSTATS are included.

RUGGED CONSTRUCTION... the water lines are metal and the outer protection jacket is schedule 40 PVC pipe, which is backed solidly by foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The PVC jacket offers excellent mechanical protection and seals out moisture and corrosive fluids.

FIELD MAINTENANCE... the PVC jacket is split, secured with SS bands and sealed with silicon, allowing any portion of the jacket to be easily removed and replaced after maintenance is completed. Parts for repair are readily available.

STAINLESS STEEL... the eye wash nozzles and tubing, bands, valve handle, valve extensions, dual eye/face wash flow controls, and pull rod handle are all stainless steel. These standard features offer excellent protection from mechanical damage and corrosion. (View the Information Brochure)

Shower Enclosures

Heated enclosures for emergency showers are now available from B-L-S Industries, these units offer protection from the cold weather and also privacy if removal of clothing is necessary. Standard enclosures for shower and eye wash are 4' x 5' x 8'-3 1/2". Enclosures with tempered water systems are 4' x 8' x 8'-3 1/2" with a shower room and a utility room. Shower rooms have double swinging doors with Lexan windows and weather seals. Enclosure walls are 2 1/2" thick Polyurethane insulation enclosed in a fire retardant FRP yellow Gel coat cover. Hold down tabs are attached at the corners for anchoring. Units are designed for forklift use. Shower enclosures come with the emergency shower and all options completely assembled and ready to use after hook up to water and electrical supplies.
